Welcome to Visit Nuuk, the official Destination Management Organization (DMO) of Nuuk. We are a team of two (Bea and Gerth) dedicated to showcasing our unique city’s inspiring stories and broadening your perspective on Nuuk.

Nuuk is indeed a special place. The world’s smallest capital located in one of the most unique places on Earth. You might be familiar with the clichés about the magnificent nature and untouched landscapes. Those clichés are quite accurate, but Nuuk is also much more than that. Nuuk is unique gastronomy and history. Skilled craftsmen and musicians. Active sports communities and city life. A mix of the clichés and so many other things. Yes, Nuuk is special.

Meet the Team

Meet the dynamic duo behind Visit Nuuk, Bea Husum Terkildsen and Gerth Lyberth, who are dedicated to showcasing Greenland’s capital’s unique charm and vibrant culture.

Bea Husum Terkildsen

Destination Manager Visit Nuuk

Nuuk holds a very special place in my heart. It’s a city where you can feel both the depth of history and the pulse of a vibrant, modern everyday life. I love how the sea, the mountains, and the culture come together to create a place that truly inspires. As a destination manager, it’s a pleasure to help share that experience with others – and to work toward tourism that grows in close harmony with the life and community we live in and for.
