ITINERARIES

With a unique blend of nature, indigenous traditions and modern traits, the capital region offers a wide variety of experiences for the soft, immersive and extreme traveler.

Nuuk is an arctic metropolis, where modern lifestyle merges with cultural heritage. Here you will experience a melting pot shaped by its multicultural inhabitants and surrounding nature.

With easy-access to the backcountry and the second largest fiord system in the world you have the unique opportunity to experience the amazing arctic landscape with water activities, skiing and hiking only minutes away from the city. The possibilities are numerus and can be combined in different ways to accommodate the guest and their dreams of an ultimate Greenland experience.

On behalf of our destination Visit Nuuk have put together a few examples to showcase the opportunities – whether the guest is looking for a full-on nature or a lighter version of the kind. The programs can be combined in different ways to fit all seasons – the below listed programs are examples.

All the programs can be done individually or in groups. For bigger groups the proposed programs will need adjustment. The maximum pax of a boat is 12. The Visit Nuuk Team is ready to assist you in your planning. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

Regardless of whether you want to go on a stroll just outside Nuuk city limits, or on a multi-day hiking expedition, there are plenty of options. In this article I have partnered up with Thorlak from the guide company Two Ravens to give you the ins and outs of Hiking in the Nuuk Fjord.
