Camp Kangiusaq

From the very first glance, one is captivated by Camp Kangiusaq and its beautiful location. After the stunning boat trip that takes you past majestic mountains and historic icebergs, you are left with the feeling of having reached the end of the world when you first see the white tents on the mountainside.

Camp Kangiusaq offers glamping experiences for the adventurous tourist who seeks an experience beyond the ordinary, completely isolated from the outside world. Deep inside Nuup Kangerlua (Nuuk fjord), surrounded by mountains, the camp is situated overlooking a small bay filled with icebergs. Here, the most prominent sound is the gentle murmuring of the nearby river.

In the camp, you can hike in the scenic surroundings, go fishing for cod and redfish, or simply choose to relax with the fantastic view from the terrace in front of your tent.

The beautiful boat trip from Nuuk center to the camp takes 2-3 hours and passes by the abandoned settlement of Qoornoq, among other sights. Camp Kangiusaq is one of the countless options that the world’s second-largest fjord system around Nuuk offers.
