During the winter season, Kang Skicenter is a skiing paradise. It is untouched snowcovering miles of sloped terrain carved out by the surrounding mountains. To get there you travel by snowmobile. It is an amazing trip where you create lasting memories at the top of the world. In the summertime, the area is rich in hiking area and the beauty is unmatched.
The accommodation in Kangerluarsunnguaq is as a camp that consists of 3 houses, and 2 other buildings. One building is the common area (available when renting more than 1 house). This is where you can have meetings or have dinner with the other residents to share stories and life experiences. The other common building is the bathroom. Please know that these toilets are not the kinds that flush, therefor make sure that a bag is installed before you use it.
The more luxurious Kanghattan, is where you will find the larger house. This offers a large corner sofa, a family dinner around the long table, and just a cozy place to stay with spectacular views of Greenland. This house has 2 bedrooms with 12 beds, which is well suited for a larger group.
It is available all year round. Kangerluarsunnguaq is a remote destination that takes about 50 minutes by boat to reach.
